Kloyd (aka Kate Lloyd) composes both electronica and bespoke library music for a variety of moving image media. Kate is interested in taking her listeners on a journey by fusing electronica with ambient downtempo, incorporating influence from artists such as Bonobo, Moby and Massive Attack.

Kate has been professionally composing and producing music since 2014 and is set to release her first double A-side single at the end of October 2017. Having recently been aired twice on BBC Introducing, Alan Raw describes the single as “sensational with a real sense of adventure and mystery”.

Starting her musical path at Leeds College of Music studying music production, Kate has since gained a number of credits composing and producing music for BBC TopGear online, Simon on the Streets, MVF Global, The Yorkshire Dales National Park which saw a screening at the Dhaka International Film Festival and a large projection mapping installation for Illuminating York.
